Alana's first Christmas present this year was a baby doll that she named Flower Baby. This is a picture of her shortly after she discovered it's bottle.
The other day Alana met Ken at the door with the camera, wanting to tell him all about her day. He took pictures and video of her as she babbled on and on, and I have to say it's absolutely adorable. So, here you go: Alana telling daddy all about everything.

Many of you that have the privilige of living close to us know that there is an interesting relationship between Josiah and Alana. They do love each other very much, but they also are already annoying the crap out of each other almost constantly. The problem is a clash of personalities. Alana, to put it nicely, is vivacious and hard to keep in one spot for too long. Josiah, on the other hand, is much quieter, much more focused and a very, very hard worker. He doesn't like to be bothered when he's busy and he really, really doesn't appreciate distractions.

The backstory:
I was trying to get a video of Josiah scootching because the way that he does it is just so adorable. But every time I tried to start filming Alana would get in the way, so I made her sit on my lap. That was also a poor choice. Just look at the expression on Josiah's face as he's watching her.
Translation of what Alana is saying: "Feet. My feet are cold. A Sock! A Sock! A Sock! (multiple times) I got sock!"
